Antenatal Support

Designed to help you prepare for your upcoming labour, birth, and postnatal periods. 

 

Our sessions are fully adaptable to your requirements and can cover topics such as:

 

  • The physiology of birth

  • Exploring and writing your birth preferences

  • Pain management in labour

  • Early labour signs

  • Comfort measures in labour

  • Feeding choices

  • Preparation for baby's arrival exploring topics such as car seat safety and infant sleep.

The Cradle Package

Designed for those who have already experienced birth, or who are taking separate antenatal classes.

 

2-4 hours of antenatal support (to be taken in blocks of of 2-4 hours)

In person support from whenever your labour begins until a few hours after birth. I will  be on call 24/7 from 10 days before your estimated due date until your labour begins.

If you go into labour before this I will do my best to get to you but cannot guarantee I will be available as I may be with another client.

2-4 hours of postnatal support after birth.

During our antenatal sessions we can cover topics such as:

  • The physiology of birth

  • Exploring and writing your birth preferences

  • Pain management and comfort measures in labour

  • Early labour signs

  • Feeding choices

  • Preparation for baby's arrival exploring topics such as car seat safety and infant sleep.

During your labour and birth I will be there to:

  • Offer any information you may need to make informed decisions about your care

  • Lead you in guided meditation and relaxation exercises

  • Support you and your birth partner to remain calm and focused

  • Support you and your birth partner in advocating for yourself and your baby throughout labour and birth

  • Be an additional person to discuss your options for care during labour

  • Offer suggestions for movement and positioning to support and facilitate birth

  • Provide physical support and assistance for movement during labour

During the postnatal sessions I can provide:

  • A birth debrief (discussing your birth and how you're feeling)

  • Basic household chores 

  • Enabling you time for self care by holding baby while you eat, sleep, shower etc

  • Practical support looking after baby

  • Breastfeeding support

  • A non-judgemental listening ear for you and your immediate family as you navigate this time

The Embrace Package

Designed for first time parents, or those who would like more antenatal support.

 

8-10 hours of antenatal support (to be taken in blocks of of 2-4 hours), including Hypnobirthing and Biomechanics.

In person support from whenever your labour begins until a few hours after birth. I will  be on call 24/7 from 10 days before your estimated due date until your labour begins.

If you go into labour before this I will do my best to get to you but cannot guarantee I will be available as I may be with another client.

Designed to provide care from the moment you book until 12 weeks postpartum, for the ultimate support throughout your journey.
